After we left Legoland, we drove back to Copenhagen via Odense, stayed at a hostel for the night, which was quite a "squashed" affair, but comfortable enough, and had a lazy morning before catching our flight to Holland. We arrived in Amsterdam late afternoon, and met by mum's cousin Jolanda who has been taking very good care of us since we arrived. It is lovely to be in a home again, with home cooked food, our own room, and being able to drink water without having to pay for it! Today we looked at some of the attractions around The Hague, including an "overview" of Holland, in miniature: a place called Madurodam...
It's incredible to see you all in Holland, and in places that I have been to myself. Wait till you see the REAL Dom Tower Stefan, more than 800 years old, you'll have trouble supporting that one!
ReplyDeleteIt was so good talking to you all on the phone last night. Will ring again Friday before you fly to England
Hey guys!
ReplyDeleteLegoLand looks pretty incredible!!! 'Mount Rushmore' looks cool, and so do all the other models.
The beach at the end looks very nice and SUNNY!
Glad your having fun over there in Summer!
See ya.
