Lucas: thoughts at the end

Hanging out with the bats at Oregon Zoo, Portland

Future rock stars at Experience Music Project, Seattle

Digging all the way to China from Cape Kiwanda, Oregon

Made it to San Francisco!

i have had a realy cool trip especially getting to meet a few (feathery) friends called jeremy jenny kuzco freckle snowpea kaboom donut nugget pepsi diamond snapper noddle sprinkle muffin chowder oreo and tulip; and i reckon that the trip has gone really fast.

Things I liked: the Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum, Seattle Space Needle, Victoria (Vancouver Island), Singapore (especially Sentosa), Legoland, Tivoli Gardens, and all the pigeons. Things I wanted to do but couldn't: go to New Yok, go up the Eiffel Tower and Leaning Tower, eat even more Macca's (!) and buy more things. Sometimes we didn't get the best rooms to stay in either. At home I am looking forward to playing with all my Lego (old and new), getting back to my friends and seeing all the pets.

I'm not up to date with my blog!

A special moment with mum

Since we were in Italy, we have been to Switzerland, Austria, back to Germany, Copenhagen, Legoland, Holland, England, and now we are in Lisbon.
The places I liked the best were Legoland, and Tivoli which is in Copenhagen. The bus tour in London was awesome, and we had McDonalds and KFC for dinner in London. I liked Big Ben and the London Eye.

I liked Jolanda's budgie, and I liked Ziggy the dog, and Jeremy the pigeon and all his friends.

We watched the football and Spain won the world cup. I have a Liverpool FC t-shirt, an FC Barcelona top with Messi No: 10 on the back, and a Portugal goalie top with Ricardo No: 1 on the back. Stefan has about 7 or 8 football t-shirts.

From Castelo Sao Jorge, looking over Lisbon
I wonder if I can see Jeremy from here?

Tonight I cooked dinner. I cooked bacon and pasta and broccoli and cauliflour, and we had that with salad. And there is a flower painted on the wall in our hostel.

Bye from Lucas

Italy: According to Lucas

Enjoying the Italian Riviera (Vernazza)

We went to a campground that had hundreds of tadpoles and we caught them and then released them. We went to the 5 villages and 4 of them were cool and one of them was boring. Then we went to Pisa and saw the leaning tower and then we went to our campground and went for a swim. It had 5 pools. Then we went to Rome and we had a swim in the pool and we saw the Colosseum, and the pope, and the ruins, and we had McDonalds for lunch, and I had 2 drinks. We also went shopping in Rome, and blobbed for a day. Yesterday we went to Bologna and we had pizza and chicken burgers for tea.

We have had lots of icecreams in Europe, and the weather has been good. We have only had 4 or 5 rainy days.

See you soon, from Lucas.

Lucas: my trip so far

So far I have enjoyed the trip especially in Paris but we haven't had internet. I got a photo with me in front of a Lamborghini. And I got a Liverpool t-shirt and new sunglasses, and a new watch. We went past millions of souvenir shops. We went to the Eiffel Tower, although we didn't get to go up because the queue was too big. We got our campervan and its cool but mum and dad sleep in the best bed and never let us go in it. Our first campground was cool, the rest were boring but the one we are staying in now is awesome! But not good weather. We went to a museum and it was all about planes and vehicles and science and you could go in them and I got to control a plane.

this is me next to a real lamborghini

Lucas: Thoughts before the trip

I'm looking forward to going to Legoland and Singapore and tomorrow is my birthday and the planes have tvs and movies, games, cds and if you have a pen drive you can plug it in although i will miss all of you. i am sort of scared a bit that some one will steal something without seeing and i am saying this is because people can steal stuff from you without you seeing in the places I'm staying but apart from that it will be awesome and Europe money is half of new Zealand money and Mrs Hooft if you read this then can you ask the class what is the Europe money called for a class question.
